Mayelli Meza is a remarkable self-taught artist and muralist whose

domestic violence, Mayelli courageously channels her personal

Having adorned over 40 murals in the Northwest Georgia and
Tennessee regions, Mayelli's work has garnered widespread
recognition, with features in prestigious publications like the New
York Times. Through her vibrant murals, she vividly captures the
essence of the diverse community of Dalton, Georgia, breathing life
into its stories and struggles on the town's walls.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Mayelli's passion for live painting
events has allowed her to connect with audiences in profound ways.

A recent highlight includes a notable event at the Georgia Capitol,
where she presented a painting as a gift to the Speaker of the
House, showcasing the depth and impact of her artistry.

Driven by a deep sense of giving back, Mayelli actively engages
with her community, especially those who have faced challenges
similar to her own. Believing in the healing power of art as a means
of self-expression and personal growth, she volunteers in  the
Alternative Education Program  and The New Comers, where she
nurtures creativity and resilience through art. Mayelli's unwavering
dedication to empowering others through art exemplifies her belief
